Thunderbolt 1003T Siren

This is a picture I took of a Thunderbolt 1003T model air raid siren in Olney, TX that is currently operated to warn citizens of impending tornadoes. This is the all time classic civil war era siren that warns thousands of residents across tornado alley. This, along with newer siren models can be found all across North Central TX, as well as the Panhandle of TX. Amazingly, Dallas county owns and maintains 90+ tornado sirens! More pics to come.
